Acts as the interface and control board between the truck’s control system (via the CPU cards) and the IGBT power modules in the inverter.
Controls the firing of the IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) by sending precise gate signals.
Monitors inverter health parameters such as:
DC bus voltage
Current feedback from the traction motors
Temperature sensors in the inverter
Communicates status and fault data back to the truck’s control assembly.
